Commissioners, Health Department held Camden County Local Boards of Health Summit
On Wednesday, the Camden County Board of Commissioners and the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services held the Camden County Local Boards of Health Summit, an event where municipal governments and local boards of health from across New Jersey come together to discuss comprehensive approaches to public health for better community outcomes. This year’s summit featured presentations about current health trends and community health.
“Events like this give local health leaders an opportunity to come together, share ideas and learn from one another,” said Commissioner Jennifer Cooley Fleisher, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services. “By working together, we can continue finding new ways to improve the health and well-being of our communities.”
